The villageās high altitude offers optimal conditions to all skiing holiday lovers: 115 kilometres of slopes that rarely need to resort to snow-making machines, snow parks, state-of-the-art ski lifts and international events.

The Livigno ski area is divided into two areas distributed over the opposite mountain slopes of the valley: Mottolino and Carosello 3000, which can be accessed using a single ski pass that allows you to use any of the slopes.
Whatever your skill level, you will find the right path here: in fact, the area has 29 blue slopes, 37 red ones and 12 paths for the more experienced, with altitudes ranging from the villageās 1800 metres to almost 3000 metres at the highest point.

With 30 kilometre of slopes, always snow-covered and well-groomed, Livigno is one of the favourite destinations of those who enjoy cross-country skiing, a technique that is part of the broader category of Nordic skiing.
Every year, as the skiing season begins, the town hosts La Sgambeda, an international cross-country marathon belonging to the prestigious Visma Ski Classic circuit, in which athletes and enthusiasts from all over the world take part. It is an exciting race, open to all, and definitely worth trying!
If you like always discovering something new and special, don’t miss the opportunity to see the biathlon competitions, an Olympic discipline including both cross-country skiing and rifle target shooting together!
For snowboarding and freestyle enthusiasts, the Livigno ski area offers numerous dedicated areas, where you can have fun in complete tranquillity.
The most famous snow park is undoubtedly the Mottolino Snowpark where some of the most famous European freestylers train, but we also recommend trying the American Park, the Livigno Park Carosello 3000 and the evocative Woodpark that winds its way through a Larch.
For car enthusiasts and for those who want to experience thrilling emotions, the Livigno Ghiacciodromo Ice Track hosts safe driving courses and sports driving on ice.
Sit yourself at the wheel of the schoolās racing cars and take on bends, straight tracks and slaloms to test your skills, or enjoy the experience as a passenger along with one of the professional instructors.
